About Luxapel

Advancing the State of the Art in LED Lighting

Luxapel — formerly Luxium Lighting — is a Portland, Oregon company dedicated to delivering the world's finest color-adjustable LED PAR retrofit lights for entertainment and architectural applications.

Our Mission

Transforming Spaces, One Fixture at a Time

Luxapel was founded on a simple but powerful idea: the lighting instruments already installed in theaters, churches, auditoriums, and commercial venues should not have to be replaced to benefit from modern LED technology. Instead, they should be transformed.

Our retrofit-first philosophy means that a historic theater can keep its existing PAR64 rigs while gaining full-spectrum color, flicker-free dimming, and wireless DMX — at a fraction of the cost of a complete fixture replacement.

From the NASA JPL broadcast studio to neighborhood churches in Portland, Luxapel products have proven themselves in some of the most demanding lighting applications in the country.
